Winter Brew Fest – If you love the cold weather and some craft beverages, head over to the mile high station at the end of January. You will find some of the best beers from local microbreweries as well as those that are located throughout the United States. Of course, you also find plenty of vendors to browse along with some live music and lots of food.

Vail – No list of things to do in the area of Denver would be complete unless it mentioned this ski resort. It is one of the largest worldwide and has more than 5000 acres available for your skiing adventure. If you are somebody who is interested in a winter vacation because of the skiing, you should check out this area and perhaps even some of the surrounding slopes.
